How do you pay to fill the huge winter potholes in the BFUHS school driveway? “Install a toll booth,” said national road hazard remediation expert Reginald Tarr. “We did some research,” Mr. Tarr reported, “which told us that if students, teachers and parents would each pay just 25 cents to enter the school driveway, that money would add up quickly and we could pay for not just filling up the potholes, but also some nice amenities like a yellow line down the middle, white lines on the sides, and maybe even some really cute purple hoof prints for the school’s new Purple Unicorn mascot.”
All involved can certainly attest to the rigors of driving around some of those monsters. And, as the photo (left) depicts, sometimes there’s no getting out. “We just need to decide how much more to charge for people to actually leave the driveway, and then we’ll be all set to go. Stay tuned and save those quarters!”
