The cast of the 2017 Fall play are preparing for the production of Arsenic and Old Lace. The busy students are making time in their busy schedules to practice their acting skills. Arsenic and Old Lace is about two sisters, Abby and Martha, played by Emily Wunderle and Grace Thompson, that have a knack for helping lonely men with their “troubles.” When the sisters’ nephews, Jonathan and Mortimer Brewster, played by Zoe schemm and Alden Parmelee, come to visit, one of the men brings murder with him. As the Brewster family dances around the cops, and Elaine Harper’s (played by Jessica Roberts) lover Mortimer Brewster learns of interesting news, he has big decisions to make. With the sisters’ brother believing he is Teddy Roosevelt and a character with the name of Einstein – not the scientist – with a thick accent, this comedic play will not want to be missed! Performances will be held November 10 and 11 at BFUHS. See the BFUHS Drama Page for more information.
