Both the junior and senior math teams of Bellows Falls Union High School participated in their second math meet of the year on Thursday, December Seventh. Hosted at BFUHS, the teams felt confident in preparation for the competition. Calculators at the ready, pencils in hand, and game faces on, the teams rattled out answers with accuracy and speed.
Even with the careful strategy and planning put in place, the Senior team didn’t score as well as they would have liked, but in the end the team came out stronger than they went in and are ready to work for the next competition. The junior math team gained one new participant for the second meet of the year, Gabe Hakimoglu (Sophomore), and performed well individually, hoping to gain a few more teammates to complete their team in time for the next meet.
